7.6
7.6 Leaving Carbajal, the asphalt is left. Until Cabanillas the itinerary has continuous ups and downs. If you are going to sleep in Cabanillas (without services), it is advisable to stock up in Carbajal.

1.7
37.5
Buiza
3.8
41.3 The hostel for pilgrins is just as you enter, on the right.
The bar is a social center for drinks only and with irregular timetable.
In Buiza there is the signposted fork from which the variant to go through Villasimpliz starts, which It is longer but highly recommended in winter or in very bad weather. The itinerary of this variant runs through Villasimpliz (+2.8Km), Villamanín (+3.2Km, bar, grocery, accommodation), Villanueva de la Tercia (+3.1Km), Busdongo (+4.5Km, bar, hostel ) and connects again in Arbás del Puerto (+3.5Km). Here we follow the official itinerary towards Poladura de la Tercia.

Alto Forcadas de San Antón
3.5
44.8 About 1,5 km after the top, past the forest and close to a hut, leave the track and take a path that goes to the left (signposted)
From here, although there are various signs, sometimes it can become confusing. We came out onto a wide track. We must be careful not to miss a path that goes to the left and that we must take. If not, we will unexpectedly end up in another town, San Martín de la Tercia, although it is also signposted and the path can be retaken at the exit, to reach Poladura.

Poladura de la Tercia
5.7
50.5 In the hostel for pilgrins there is a vending machine for drinks and snacks.
From Poladura to Arbás you have to pay close attention to the signs as there are sections where it is not difficult to lose the path. Some signs (stakes) can be found down, and not seen.

Alto Canto La Tusa
3.7
54.2 You must go through the barbed wire fence. Attention: We can find electrified cattle fences, so we must be careful when opening them.
Arbás del Puerto
4.1
58.3 If we have the opportunity, it is worth visiting the interior of the Collegiate Church
From here you must walk along the shoulder of the national road, which, although it is wide, must be done with great caution.

Puerto de Pajares / Alto de la Gobia
1.2
59.5 Before reaching Puerto de Pajares, the path turns to the right (signposted) to climb to Alto de la Gobia. If you want to go to the bar-restaurant (reopened in 2017), you must continue straight on the road for about 100 meters. Then you have to retrace your steps to return to the path and ascend to the Alto.
Under no circumstances must you choose to follow Pajares along the N-630 road. It is very dangerous!

Bifurcación Pajares-San Miguel
0.7
60.2 After the top, already in region of Asturias, a steep slope descends to the road, which must be crossed with great care, to continue along the path. A little further on there is a signposted fork to go to Pajares (right), or continue to San Miguel del Río (left). Here we continue on the right to Pajares.
Pajares
3.4
63.6 In the hostel for pilgrins there is a vending machine for drinks and snacks.
Leaving Pajares there is a path that goes to the left and after a steep descent you reach San Miguel del Río

San Miguel del Río

65.3 It is advisable to always follow the yellow arrows, which follow a more recommended itinerary. Some signposts with the shell lead us towards the road.

66.7
Llanos de Somerón
2.2
68.9 From here, descend towards the N-630 national road along a local road with little traffic.
Puente de los Fierros
4.6
73.5 Next to Puente de los Fierros, we leave the road along a path that climbs to the left. Another option, if there are bad weather conditions, is not to take the path and continue along the road to Campomanes. Although it is somewhat shorter, it is less attractive, and also dangerous since you walk along the shoulder of the national road with a lot of traffic. Here we recommend following the trail itinerary, which is somewhat longer but much more attractive and recommendable.

0.9
74.4

Pola de Lena
2.6
88.9 The hostel for pilgrins is located next to the train station.
Leaving Pola, turn right to cross the river and continue along the service road that runs alongside the motorway, and leave a few meters before reaching a gas station, turning left.

Villallana
3.5
92.4 On leaving, we continue along the AS-375 road. You have to pay attention to the traffic, since there is no hard shoulder and the signage is scarce or in poor condition. After 2km, we must be careful not to miss the detour that goes to the right and that leads us to the bridge to cross to the other side of the highway, thus leaving the dangerous road.
Ujo / Uxo
3.5
95.9 Before arriving, we cross the highway again to enter Ujo. From Ujo to Mieres you walk along a pedestrian promenade.
